Remixlive is very cool!

I use the DJay Pro app for all my mixtapes. In the app, there is a feature called 'Looper Packs' where the Djay Pro software will use the sounds in these packs to line up the bpm(beats per minute) and play alongside whichever song the user plays. I got a kick out of these as it allows one to make remixes on the fly.

I've done it a few times in the past. You can listen to an example in my August 2024 Dancehall Mixtape(click here for that)at the 24-minute mark, where I do so with Jquan's 'Chakka.'

YouTuber Justin Spiegel has an excellent channel where he talks tips, tricks, and observations about the Djay Pro app. In this particular video, he mentioned Remixlive; my ears perked up. I didn't know there were apps that specialized in these looper packs.

After more research, YouTuber DJ Dre discussed using Remixlive with Novation's Launchpad X MIDI grid controller. The app is compatible with the controller. In this video, he discusses how he uses this device and app combo to do remixes on the fly with his live DJ sets, which is something I want to do!

This is my first stream, mixing and playing with the Remixlive app with the Launchpad X controller.
