Check out this episode! On this episode(these are clickable links with articles and mostly video): Food Recipe Prep-Dehydrating Kale and Tofu My Favorite Quotes from John C. Maxwell's 'The Difference Maker' My 2024 Gaming Year in Review Soca Mixtape February 2025 Happy February, I hope the new year is going well for you.  I've been home from work since the beginning of December.  I fractured a small bone in my left foot, so I'm recuperating. I hope to return to work and my social life this February.  This has given me more time to make content!   As listed above on this episode, this is my first food recipe on this podcast. I dehydrate veggies often to get more greens in my diet. In this segment, I dehydrated kale and tofu. They make a great snack and are open to almost any kind of spices and seasonings you'd like to apply to them. In the second segment, I discuss my favorite quotes from prolific author John C. Maxwell's book 'The Difference Mak...

My 2024 Gaming Year In Review.

YouTube version Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, and Valve publish annual individual gamer statistics, similar to Spotify's year-end 'Wrapped' playlist. It presents which games are played and for how long—also activity by month. These are my numbers. On Xbox, I played 35 hours and 40 games, 20 of those hours mainly on the cloud(using the Logitech G-Cloud). I earned 38 achievements and increased my Gamerscore by over 700 points. My most played games were Rollerdrome, Katana Zero, and The Callisto Protocol.   Rollerdrome gave me Tony Hawk Pro Skater vibes from back in the day. I remember spending hours on that game. Except in Rollerdrome, opponents are trying to end you and you in return. My busiest month was June. Katana Zero.  All screenshots in this article I've taken during gameplay. Moving on to the Playstation, I played 33 games for 31 hours—earning 36 trophies, mostly Bronze. March was my busiest month.  My top three games were Spider-Man Miles Morales, Final Fantasy 7...

12 min Lo-Fi Beat-I put together using REMIXLIVE.

I enjoy Lo-fi beats. Playing it in the background when company visits always sets a pleasant mood. Inspired to assemble something similar to those vibes, I assembled this beat using the Remixlive app. This is the app I've been using plenty as of late. It's a quick way to put music together for the content I'm creating. I used GarageBand on the iPad for years and will continue doing so, but Remixlive has put that on the back burner for a bit.   I made the visualizers using Canva. Here's a link to Remixlive. My Favorite Quotes! John C. Maxwell's 'The Difference Maker'

YouTube version In the past, I've done videos where I discussed 'My Biggest Takeaways' from a particular book I've read, a podcast I've listened to, or a video I've watched. That's morphed into 'My Favorite Quotes.' Starting in 2025, I have the latest in that series with John C. Maxwell's 'The Difference Maker.' John C. Maxwell has written over 100 books(I counted the books in his bibliography on Wikipedia), and several have been on the New York Times Bestseller list. The books are usually based on leadership and self-help. 'The Difference Maker' was published in 2006.   During the pandemic, I found the book in a donation bin in my town.  It was a short read, and I found it  basic . I regularly consume self-help content, so the concepts weren't anything new. But the book had great reinforcement lessons based on what I've learned  over the years .    I will present the quote and page number in the physical book and share ...

Dehydrating Kale and Tofu-FOOD VIDEO-1st video of 2025

YouTube video I discovered food dehydration when I moved into my first apartment years ago. This method of food prep was one of the many things I was excited to try with this newfound freedom of living alone. Kayaking, buying a solar panel for my window, and building a bicycle trailer were several other goals at the time. Why dehydration? It's a method of preserving food so it does not go bad in the fridge, and helps save money.  During that time I'd come to use two different dehydrators, but I wasn't crazy about them. Once, I tried making jerky in an Excalibur machine and got sick. My fault, no doubt. I gave the appliance to a friend thereafter. The second Nesco dehydrator worked fine, but I found it took up too much space and wasn't using it much, so I sold it on eBay. This happened 10-15 years ago. The interest popped up again in 2024.   This time, I bought a nicer dehydrator. Since then, it's been getting plenty of use.   I dehydrate lots of kale. I mix it with ...
