Sony to Let AI Play Your Games For You? VIDEO GAME TALK

Listen to the podcast here     Watch the YouTube version here       Sony’s AI Ghost Player: The Future of Gaming (And Why I’m Not Mad at It) by Paul Perez This article was assisted by AI     I know I’m late to this story. Other podcasts and YouTubers have already covered it. But after reading about Sony’s new patent for AI “ghost assistance,” I had to share my take — because this might actually be one of the most exciting ideas in gaming right now.   The concept is simple: if you’re stuck in a game, an AI-powered ghost character can appear and show you what to do. Not just a hint menu, not a YouTube walkthrough, but an   in-game presence   that can demonstrate moves, overlay guidance, speak to you in natural language, and even handle parts of the game for you.   For many gamers, the first thought is: “That’s not gaming anymore. That’s cheating.” And I get that. But for me, it opens up a new way to interact with ...

Game Awards 2025: The Games That Stood Out To Me(Even If I Never Play Them)

The video version of this article with my unfiltered thoughts.   By Paul Perez After visiting my brother and catching parts of the show at his place, I came home, made dinner, and watched the rest while I ate. Just because these games stood out to me at  The Game Awards 2025  doesn’t mean I’ll actually play them. For me to try a game, it usually needs great reviews, to be available on PlayStation Plus or Game Pass, or go on a steep sale on Steam . Still, some games stick with me because of their art, presentation, nostalgia, or just how original they are. Here are titles from The Game Awards 2025 that caught my eye.  Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Nostalgia heavy This is a remake of the original  Tomb Raider , which came out almost 20 years ago, and it looks great. Crystal Dynamics, the team behind the recent trilogy, which started in 2013, is making it, and it feels like a brand-new game. What stood out to me is how  empty  it feels, with Lara Croft ...

How I Use A.I. for Content Creation

By Paul Perez Youtube version Here's how AI cuts my content-creation time in half.  By using AI, I can produce more blog content more efficiently. I’ll share how it helps me with writing, proofreading, and daily life.  The main way I use AI is for transcribing. For example, when Jason G and I record a movie review, I upload the audio to Rev.com and use their AI transcription service. It's cheaper than hiring a person to do it.  What would take me days to transcribe, paying $1-$10, is done in minutes. After recording initial audio of an idea or a podcast, this is the next step The transcription isn't perfect, but it gets about 80-90% of what we discussed. After that, I put the text into ChatGPT and asked it to turn it into a short blog post or a podcast episode description. Before I publish anything, I run it through Grammarly. Using its AI tools, I can significantly reduce my editing time by finding and correcting errors. Grammarly's proofreading and fact-checking ...

Send Help Movie Review-Spoilers!

Movie Review:  Send Help  – Sam Raimi’s Darkly Funny Return to Low-Budget Horror (SPOILERS) As the first movie of 2026, Jason G and I had the chance to see Sam Raimi’s latest film,  Send Help , on a chilly January night at the Times Square AMC. Thanks to Jason snagging the tickets, we enjoyed the warmth of the cinema—and a thrilling, blood-soaked ride. Raimi, known for his over-the-top horror comedies, seems to have returned to basics with this film. Eschewing the high-budget spectacle of his recent Marvel outing ( Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ), he crafted a smaller, tightly focused story that’s heavy on gore, humor, and classic Raimi-style awkwardness. The Story & Characters The movie centers on a small cast. Two in particular become stranded on an isolated island, where tensions rise, alliances shift, and survival instincts take over. Rachel McAdams delivers a delightfully quirky performance as a socially awkward, nerdy character who’s both sympathet...

Visiting ARTECHOUSE in NYC-Vlog

Inside NYC’s Immersive Art Playground: A Visit to ARTECHOUSE I recently checked out ARTECHOUSE near Chelsea Market in New York City, and I’ve got to admit — Instagram ads got me there. And you know what? No regrets. ARTECHOUSE isn’t just a typical art exhibit where you quietly stroll past paintings on a wall. It’s a full-on immersive digital art experience. The space features multiple interactive installations, including motion-responsive screens whose visuals respond to your movements. It’s playful, hands-on, and surprisingly fun to experiment with. The highlight, though, is the massive projection room. Floor-to-ceiling visuals wrap around the entire space, paired with atmospheric sound that pulls you right into the artwork. You can sit on the floor, lean back, and just take it all in. The whole experience runs about an hour, but once it ends, you’re not rushed out. People stick around to relax, chat, and soak up the vibe. Tickets cost around $31, and it feels worth it for the experie...

Making Apple Crackers out of Apple Cores-In the Kitchen

Turning Apple Cores into Homemade Dehydrated Apple Crackers (There are two affiliate links in this article) I eat apples all the time, and I’ve gotten into the habit of saving the cores instead of tossing them. It started as a simple “waste less” idea, and it turned into one of my favorite homemade snacks. Here’s how I turn leftover apple cores into chewy, naturally sweet dehydrated apple crackers. Why I Save My Apple Cores Whenever I eat apples, I set the cores aside and store them in the freezer. Once I’ve collected enough — usually a couple of sandwich bags full — I turn them into something completely different.   It’s an easy way to get more value out of a bag of apples and reduce food waste at the same time. Quick note:  Apple seeds do contain compounds that can release small amounts of cyanide when crushed. A few seeds blended into a big batch like this isn’t typically a concern for most people, but if you prefer to be cautious, you can remove the seeds before pro...
