Items I sold on eBay November 2024

I've been doing eBay since 1999. I'm not the best seller or making crazy money on eBay; it's side money.  I keep most of my eBay sale items and shipping supplies in storage, and most months, I  don't  earn the money to pay the rental fee. Meaning  I pay for the unit  from  my  workpay .  But eBay is the best place to sell used things. It's a big garage sale. Where do I get items to list on eBay? Four sources(two extra points not mentioned in the video below). I sell my own stuff I'm getting rid of(electronics, appliances, toys, clothing, etc.). I work in a hotel, and guests often leave things behind. If I find these items I turn them in to security, and if the guests don't claim them within a period of time, I get to keep them.   Hotel guests give me things as a form of gratuity. One example was a pair of Emirates Pajamas I sold for $70! My older brother works in a college and receives lost and found items  as well . He sends them t...

'I Saw The TV Glow' Movie Review-Was it any good?

I'm currently off work due to an injury and have time to catch up on movies I found interesting. 'I Saw the TV Glow' was praised by movie fans on TikTok, which made me curious. It is available on HBO Max, and I checked it out. The movie has these two characters, Owen and Maddy, played by Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine, respectively.  They are big fans of this TV show called 'The Pink Opaque.'  This show has X-files and Supernatural vibes but in a YA(young adult)setting with a monster/freak-of-the-week scenario. What I enjoyed about the movie: I loved the character's fandom over the show.  As a movie fan, getting together with movie friends and co-workers and discussing a favorite show is one of my joys in life. I enjoyed the scene where Owen sees the Pink Opaque in his adult years; it doesn't seem as attractive or cool anymore. Many of us can relate to this.  Transformers cartoons from the 80s play on repeat on YouTube, and I have trouble sitting thr...

Playing Katana Zero (on the Xbox Series S)and failing plenty!

I discovered Katana Zero when I was subscribed to Game Pass.  It's a fun game with 80s B-movie action appeal.   It's a one-hit kill gameplay element where you have to start the specific level again when your character gets killed—forcing the player to learn and use the play mechanics to their advantage.  Katana Zero is my current Xbox game on my five-game cycle between five consoles.  Enjoy the video. Have you played Katana Zero?  Please comment below. YouTube Version

2022 Las Vegas Trip with the Fam. 1st time in Vegas!

On a recent trip to the Grand Palladium in Punta Cana with my mom and sister, I was inspired to edit and publish this 2022 Vegas trip video. It was my first time going to Vegas, a gift for my 47th birthday. My family helped me choose this destination. Vegas is a walking town, similar to New York City. You  will  do a lot of walking here. My biggest takeaway is how the hotels themselves are the attractions. From roller coasters to shopping centers and faux gardens, you never know what you'll find in these massive hotels. The crazy thing is that the area still has space to build more. Also, getting to see the Hell's Kitchen restaurant from the TV show with Gordon Ramsay, which I'm a big fan of, and seeing the famous Bellagio hotel, this trip is one I will never forget. See the full video below. Have you ever been to Vegas? Post your thoughts below. Thanks for watching/reading this. ..YouTube link

Streaming through OBS for the first time! Playing Wolfenstein 2 on the SteamDeck

I enjoyed playing Wolfenstein The New Order and Wolfenstein The Old Blood, so playing this is a no-brainer.  Steaming is something I want to do more of, but using an Elgato Stream Deck, and OBS software, seemed super difficult to me.   I followed YouTuber Midnight Man's instructions and viola!  I didn't get everything working right, but for a first time, it came out well.  Using a Valve SteamDeck no less.   Check out the Youtube video below. More to come!

Playing 'Still Wakes the Deep'-Cool Horror Game!

'Still Wakes the Deep' is a game that intrigues me.  It plays like horror movies which I've watched before.   The story begins on a regular workday on an oil rig out in the ocean.  The rig hits something while drilling, causing chaos, and an unknown creature comes on board, slowly killing the crew.   You and the remaining crewmates work to find a way off the rig while trying to survive the rig falling apart and the strange organism coming on board.  This is the gist of what takes place in the game, but there are other character sub-stories running along the main narrative. In this video, I play a small portion of the game where I run into a crewmate who's been assimilated by the creature, and I try to escape without being noticed.  Check out the Youtube video below and enjoy!

Dancing outside and around town. July & August 2024

In these short videos, I dance outside and around my town of Union City, New Jersey.  It's summertime, why not?  Dancing outside is a great way to build confidence and overcome the fear of other people's opinions.  I've done it plenty over the years, alone and with friends, and I will continue doing it. I want to get into the habit of documenting my dancing ability.  As I get older, it diminishes, and doing this is a great way to remember what I can do.  This whole blog is a little egotistical, but no one else will if you don't take the initiative to record these things for yourself.   This video is to Tekno's 'Telephone' with Vybz Kartel..this was shot by a local car wash. Here I'm dancing to The 9ine's 'Wait for Me', at a local Crunch gym.

Playing through the intro of 'The Callisto Protocol'

The Callisto Protocol is now available on Xbox Game Pass. When I first saw the trailer, this sci-fi horror game was up my alley. It gave me Aliens, Lockout(Guy Pearce space prison movie from 2012) vibes. The game casts actors we've most likely seen(or heard) somewhere before. The beginning portion introduces us to Josh Duhamel, known for his roles in the Transformers movies, Karen Fukuhara from Amazon's 'The Boys, and Sam Witwer, the voice of Darth Maul in the animated Star Wars Clone Wars series. Playing the first 25-30 minutes of the game, I was immediately drawn into the story. These two cargo pilots are on a 'final job' transporting something. It all goes awry, and one of the pilots, Jason Lee(Josh Duhamel), ends up on the prison planet of Callisto. He is incarcerated for mysterious reasons not yet revealed. He wakes up after going unconscious from being painfully processed into the system, only to find his cell open and the prison in chaos.    This is the bea...

In an attempt to maintain my art skills, I asked one of my co-workers if I can draw their picture.  My fellow co-worker Paula volunteered.  Thank you Paula!  As with all of my drawings, I use the Procreate app, 1st gen Apple Pencil, and an iPad Mini.  Here's a time lapse video of my artwork.

9 Lessons Learned in 2023-Dating, Diet, & More.

Podcast Audio-Hit Play below. Check out this episode! YouTube version I reviewed my journal notes from 2023; these were nine of my biggest lessons from last year.   Sugar dating is an expensive alternative to seeing sex workers. I've been seeing sex workers for 6-8 years now, and it was getting old. I met someone in 2023 and wanted to date them seriously, but they didn't in return; I took that as a challenge and looked into sugar dating. I've been doing so since October and learned a lot since then. Now, I have sugar babies and sex workers in my regular rotation. There are growing pains in maintaining this, but I do like the variety.   Regular dating sites are a waste of time.   I've used dating sites and had some success, but it took time, patience, and messaging other members before meeting someone in real life. When I started sugar dating in October, I signed up and paid a month's subscription to a regular dating site(along with a sugar dating site). Conver...
