Sharing Our Joy of Dancehall ....Again. August 2021

 


I've shot videos for the past few years of myself and friends dancing at parties.   These being some of the familiar faces in those videos.   We got together on this August afternoon and had a great time at Rise Radio simply catching up(pictured here).   Later at Lover's Rock with tunes by DJ WahGwanTwon.   As of late, I haven't been great at documenting these outings and it's something I should do more.   Grateful to my friends Mami, for taking this picture and Veronika for shooting these videos.   Jason Tree-Step is the life of the party.   More wonderful times spent with fellow dancehall fans and hopefully more to come.


In mid-august Max Glazer played at the Brooklyn Public Library for a 2nd time.   Mami shot this video there.    Another wonderful time in friends.    Dancehall brings folks together.   It's a good look.

2022 Las Vegas Trip with the Fam. 1st time in Vegas!

On a recent trip to the Grand Palladium in Punta Cana with my mom and sister, I was inspired to edit and publish this 2022 Vegas trip video. It was my first time going to Vegas, a gift for my 47th birthday. My family helped me choose this destination. Vegas is a walking town, similar to New York City. You  will  do a lot of walking here. My biggest takeaway is how the hotels themselves are the attractions. From roller coasters to shopping centers and faux gardens, you never know what you'll find in these massive hotels. The crazy thing is that the area still has space to build more. Also, getting to see the Hell's Kitchen restaurant from the TV show with Gordon Ramsay, which I'm a big fan of, and seeing the famous Bellagio hotel, this trip is one I will never forget.
