Yesterday I went to see the Green Knight with Dev Patel.   The trailer made it look like a fabulous sword-wielding fantasy adventure.   I've enjoyed these kinds of movies since I was a kid.   The Conan movies, the Neverending Story, Beastmaster, The Sword and the Sorceror, are examples.   Reading that Green Knight was based on an Arthurian story with Gawain, I was all in. 1981's Excalibur is a personal favorite.    The first DVD I ever purchased. Green Knight had amazing visuals but was tedious.  I fell asleep several times.   It seemed to be an arthouse-style movie(long shots of no conversation with a person doing some mundane activity for 5 minutes or more).   Characters are introduced, and it goes nowhere, such as a   redheaded ghost and Bald giants.   I walked out of the movie after 90 minutes.   At the one-hour mark, I thought, let me stick with this.
