How to Pack More Fun Into Your Weekend Without Sacrificing Your Whole Day

Check out this episode! Sometimes the best weekends aren’t about doing one thing for eight hours straight. They’re about getting just enough of the experiences you love and combining them into a day you’ll actually remember. That’s exactly what happened for me over Memorial Day Weekend 2026 when I split my Sunday between a major wrestling event and a dance party later that night. The experience reminded me that you don’t always have to choose between your interests—you can often fit more of them into your life than you think. You Don’t Have to Stay for the Entire Event to Enjoy It One lesson I’ve learned from attending wrestling shows over the years is that every event doesn’t have to be an all-day commitment. I attended AEW Double or Nothing at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, next to Citi Field. Rather than arriving at the beginning and staying until the very end, I showed up later and caught several matches that I was interested in. For me, wrestling events have be...

Visiting ARTECHOUSE in NYC-Vlog

Inside NYC’s Immersive Art Playground: A Visit to ARTECHOUSE I recently checked out ARTECHOUSE near Chelsea Market in New York City, and I’ve got to admit — Instagram ads got me there. And you know what? No regrets. ARTECHOUSE isn’t just a typical art exhibit where you quietly stroll past paintings on a wall. It’s a full-on immersive digital art experience. The space features multiple interactive installations, including motion-responsive screens whose visuals respond to your movements. It’s playful, hands-on, and surprisingly fun to experiment with. The highlight, though, is the massive projection room. Floor-to-ceiling visuals wrap around the entire space, paired with atmospheric sound that pulls you right into the artwork. You can sit on the floor, lean back, and just take it all in. The whole experience runs about an hour, but once it ends, you’re not rushed out. People stick around to relax, chat, and soak up the vibe. Tickets cost around $31, and it feels worth it for the experie...

Recapping July 2021. I love the Summer.

Here is a series of pictures and videos recapping my July.   Working in hotels for the last 20 years, I learned that July seems to be the time the world takes off from work and goes on vacation.  I love July in NYC, there's no place I'd rather be.   There's always something going on.   Due to the pandemic this year, I've also had loads of time off to fully enjoy this wonderful month.    View this post on Instagram A post shared by Social Dancer-Content Creator (@paul_v_perez) I also discovered golf!   I found a golf range, only a bus ride away from my neighborhood.    View this post on Instagram A post shared by Social Dancer-Content Creator (@paul_v_perez) Finally, I'm always on the lookout for funny pics while I'm out and about.   View this post on Instagram A post shared by Social Dancer-Content Creator (@paul_v_perez) How was your July?  Please comment below. ...

Fun by the Hudson River, on the New Jersey side.

I'm grateful to live close by the Hudson River.   Summertime is a great time to kayak and fly drones in this area.   Check out these videos where I do both. Here I'm using the K2 Intex Inflatable Kayak.   I've been on the river with it a few times and it's worked great.   A heavier neighbor recently joined me and it held up well for my first two person adventure.    Check it out here(affiliate link). View this post on Instagram A post shared by Social Dancer-Content Creator (@paul_v_perez) I'm slowly getting accustomed to flying drones even though I've been flying them on off for a few years now.    But as the technology improves, these devices become easier to fly.   Here I'm using a DJI Mavic Mini which you can find here(affiliate link).  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Social Dancer-Content Creator (@paul_v_perez) Finally, kite-flying!   This is something I've discovered ...

I Want to Spend More Days Like This!

When I was working, I didn't always have time to dig deeper into my interests.   I appreciate my job, and I do miss it.   Having hours to sleep, relax, spend time-visit with friends and family, learn new skills, and dig into my creativity and documenting activities has been great.   When I look back at this world-changing period, it won't be all negative and scary.   Here's a sample of what I've been up to lately.   Thoughts, comments, do so below.   These videos are all on my Instagram profile which you can find here  https://www.instagram.com/paul_v_perez/   Washington Square Park, NYC View this post on Instagram   Late night artwork   View this post on Instagram #latenight #doodles #artwork A post shared by Social Dancer-Podcaster- (@paul_v_perez) on Aug 11, 2020 at 9:37am PDT Kayaking on the Hudson river..   View this post on Instagram On the #hudsonriver this past weekend....

Bicycling with a wonderful message from Gary Vaynerchuk

Gary Vaynerchuk recently started his 'Tea with Gary Vee' show.    It's a morning show where he does Q & A with his fans.    I've listened to such great and inspirational content on there.   This is one of those bits of advice. YouTube version. Find his podcast here.

Pictures from Halloween NYC 2019

These are pictures I took in Union Square during the   Halloween parade(in NYC).   I love how willing people are to be photographed.   Thank you strangers!   I appreciate you all for posing for my camera.

New York City Comic Con 2019 pictures

I did this a few years where I would walk around the outside of the Jacob Javits Center(in New York City), while Comic Con was taking place.    Watching attendees in their cosplay outfits is fun.    They are kindly willing to be photographed.   Here are some of those pictures. YOUTUBE VERSION

BattleClub Pro Wrestling is Fun!

This is my second show Battleclub Pro Wrestling show. I've had fun both times and plan to go again. I 'm trying to get out of the rut of doing the same thing all the time and attend events I normally don't. Find out more about Battleclub Pro here https://www.facebook.com/Battleclubpro/

Wrestling Weekend April 2019. Battleclub Pro and MLW

These events took place during Wrestlemania 2019 weekend. I've loved wrestling all my life but admittedly I prefer listening to podcasts and watching shortened versions of shows on YouTube these days. This particular weekend there where shows everywhere. I attended Battle Club Pro's 'Women Crush Wednesdays' in Brooklyn. Then MLW's 'Rise of the Renegades' show in Queens. Indie shows are the best as the action is right there in front of you and you get the meet the wrestlers(for the most part)as well all at a nominal cost. Support your local indie wrestling shows. This was so much fun.
