The Man in Black Vs. Johnny Silverhand and Friends-Action Figure Photography

In my latest set of action figure pictures, I have the 'Man in Black' played by Matthew McConaughey from the 2017 Dark Tower movie, facing off against Johnny Silverhand played by Keanu Reeves from 2020's Cyberpunk 2077 game. Johnny is accompanied by Psycho and Tiny Tina from the Borderlands series of video games. Finally, I have Star Trek Next Generation's Jordi Laforge as a blue alien. Most figures are from Mcfarlane Toys, exceptions being the Man in Black(Diamond Select) and Jordi(Playmates). The diorama is from Extreme Sets wave 2 Control Center, which is inspired by 1980s Transformers cartoons.

This picture with the broken glass, comic book style, panel is my favorite! It adds another level of excitement to the photo.

I used an Apple Pencil, Ipad Mini, Canon G5X, and the Procreate app to put these together. I also used elements and filters at Canva.com to spruce up a pic or two.

I often have these types of confrontation or surprised themed shoots where the hero faces the villain. Currently, I prefer the Diamond Select and Mcfarlane figures over the Hasbro toys. They are more detailed and, in some instances, are more poseable.

The Jordi figure, unfortunately, fell apart after these pics. I tried piecing him back together, but no luck.

The word balloons give the pictures a comic book feel, showing my adolescent aspirations of being a comic book penciler. These photos are a combination of several favorite things from my childhood. Action figures, artwork, and technology. Something I want to continue doing.

The Ballerina Spoiler Review-$132 Million Later
